Shooting School
Prescott Shooting school lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the rolling hills and valleys of the West Cotswolds. Located 15 minutes from the centre of Cheltenham and 10 minutes from Junction 9 on the M5 Motorway. It is easily accessible from either Birmingham or London.
It is home to two sport trap layouts and tuition facility, a 50 Bird Sporting Course, and a three stand driven flush.
The ground hosts a range of events including Open Practice Evenings, Corporate Days, Private Tuition, Competitions, Stag and Hen Parties, Have-a-Go days and Charity-Fundraising events. All these are run and coordinated by owner Daniel Martin.
Shooting tuition is available throughout the week from 09:00 til 17:00 depending on the season and is under the guidance of Daniel Martin.
Daniel has a great deal of experience, whether it is out shooting line on a game day or competing in international competitions.
The shooting ground offers a vast array of targets, from floating incomers, 40 yard crossers and a 120ft tower.

Day Course
A complete days instruction for novice or experienced shots. Days are tailored to suit each client and include a full safety and gun handling brief followed by a full day of intense shooting instruction. Either group or single bookings available. The course is held on either Tuesdays or Saturdays. All weather stands for whatever the weather. Cost includes gun hire, cartridges, clays and lunch at the local country pub. Gift Vouchers available.

Beginners are taught from gun safety and etiquette to stance and routine. For the more experienced shot the lesson is aimed at polishing and improving each clients chosen technique. Every lesson is pre-discussed with Daniel, from bogey targets to inconsistency. Each lesson will be aimed towards improving personal potential.
Prescott Shooting Ground also offers game shooting lessons on our driven flush facility which can simulate high pheasants, coveys of partridge and fast driven grouse.
Beginners are taught ‘in field gun safety’, game shooting etiquette and shooting technique. This can be of great use to anyone who has been invited on a driven game day and would like a crash course in driven game shooting.
For more experienced game shots who want to improve consistency or learn a new technique on either high pheasants or low flying grouse, Prescott Shooting School is the perfect location to iron out bad habits or improve your shooting technique.
Prescott Shooting School also offers special rates for young shots whether game or clay lessons.

Daniel also offers an in field tuition service in the Game Shooting season to shooters who would like tuition on driven game.
